Tonight Josephine

If you haven’t heard of this new cocktail bar, where have you been? It is honestly the coolest and pinkest (yes I said pinkest!) bar around. Located in Waterloo, Tonight Josephine is the most instagramable (I wonder if this word has made it into the dictionary yet?) cocktail bar, just look at the pictures below. From the sign outside to the wallpaper in the toilets you will be taking pictures of every inch of this place (including the ceiling, photo proof below) and oh the selfies you will take!

Early bird catches the worm and all that

I have never been the biggest fan of the colour pink but over the past year I have grown accustomed to a pink t-shirt, so when I walked through the front door of Tonight Josephine I couldn’t of been more ecstatic. Everything from the floor to the ceilings were wonderful shades of pink.

Once you have stopped taking selfies with the décor you eventually start looking at the drinks menu and if like me you love a cocktail you will love this menu. They have cocktails for all tastes and some even include a sweet treat (If I liked gin I would of ordered a ‘Violet Femme’ just for the Parma Violets). I stuck to ‘June Bugs’ and ‘Porn Star Martinis’ (I have a sweet tooth). The best part about the cocktails is that during happy hour, which is from 5pm-7pm, it is buy one get one free!! Who doesn’t love happy hour?

If you enjoy a bit of light reading whilst sipping on a cocktail then at the front of the menu you will find the story of Josephine De Beauharnais. I am still not to sure how true the whole story is but she sounds like an awesome lady and anyone who has the motto “C’est La Fucking Vie’ gets a thumbs up from me.

If you fancy popping down to this awesome cocktail bar I would advise booking in advance, we went on a Tuesday night and it was so busy I couldn't even imagine what it would be like on the weekend. The booking system is super easy and you can do it via their website
